Position Summary

The Post Launch team at Marqeta Enables the modification and expansion of programs in a predictable, reliable, and timely manner. The team is seeking a highly motivated self starter for a technical implementation role. The Technical Implementation Lead role is a key contributor to on-time and successful end to end delivery of projects for our customers. 

In this role, you will work with internal and external stakeholders to collect customer needs, break down complex requests into a series of distinct tasks, and track the progress of projects. You will manage varied inputs and ambiguous priorities, and should be comfortable working with limited oversight on tight timelines.

Primary Responsibilities

This role is about working with both our customers and multiple cross functional teams and external stakeholders to ensure our customers’ requests are successfully delivered. 

Key expectations:

• Know the Tech and Non-Tech: You have a strong background in API applications and are comfortable working in a technical environment, where you are the bridge between technical teams and technical/non-technical teams. You will need to quickly get up to speed on Marqeta's capabilities, non-technical processes, the unique features and customer benefits our platform offers, and are able to speak with confidence, knowledge, and credibility about many topics.
• Customer Focus: You ensure our customers are successful, and have high regards for Marqeta's service.
• Super Responsive and Strong Communicator: You are available and respond quickly to customers and the Marqeta team. You’re focused on communication of projects whether it's progress or roadblocks, so all teams are tightly connected and know what’s already happened and what’s happening next. Specifically, you’ll be able to redirect updates to stakeholders to provide status updates and be able to interpret qualitative updates to pull out critical dates for follow up.
• Problem Solver: You enjoy problem solving, and think outside of the box to find creative solutions to challenges. When things get tough, that's when you excel and rise to meet any obstacle, and get things done! You will use your experience to know when problems might surface, and stay ahead of it with a plan, so programs are delivered as expected.

Requirements

• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities and implementations in parallel
• Superb written and verbal communication skills and client/partner relationship skills
• Capable of taking initiative to identify next steps or new tasks based on prior activities and trends
• Proven track record of driving results supporting sales and customer success teams with technical solutioning for partners 
• Undergraduate level degree
• Understanding of how APIs work
