RingCentral is looking for a seasoned Technical Program Manager, Webinars to help us launch an exciting, all-new product in the video collaboration space! The RingCentral Video Engineering (RCV) team is based at our headquarters in Belmont, CA. We are at the forefront of the company’s next-gen and highest priority product advancements. We work closely with local Product and other Engineering teams and remote development centers in Odessa, Ukraine, St. Petersburg (SPB), Russia, and Xiamen, China.
The person in this highly strategic role will spearhead critical initiatives focused on increasing RingCentral’s leadership footprint in the UCaaS domain. S/he should have a demonstrable track record of working in fast-paced teams that have delivered projects at scale.
Responsibilities
Drive end-to-end product development cycle across multiple development teams across different geographies.
Anticipate and resolve inter-team dependencies, risks, and issues: build the appropriate program framework for projects and lead the team to deliver on schedule.
Break down the MVP feature list to Agile sprints and drive the planning process, closing, demos and retrospectives for each sprint.
Create and communicate scorecards and reports to executive leadership and key stakeholders on a regular cadence (e.g., Progress-Plan-Risks, sprint velocity and burndown charts, etc).
Coordinate project activities for all requirements across functional groups including product management, UX, engineering, and Ops.
Resolve bottlenecks with effective capture of requirements and alignment on deliverables by all teams. Ensure project delivery on time while meeting or exceeding quality standards and stakeholder expectations.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
7+ years’ experience in developing highly scalable, low latency, fault tolerant distributed systems.
Proven experience and ability to drive projects to completion using Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Strong organizational skills to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously, without losing sight of key goals. Ability to execute through ambiguity.
Expertise in tools such as Jira, Gitlab, PowerPoint and Excel is needed.
Familiarity with modern day microservices architectures, AWS or other public cloud, and modern app development frameworks.
Ability to define objective metrics/ KPIs and present development status and trends across various layers of management.
Strong collaboration and alliance building skills to keep geographically distributed teams humming.
Driven with the ability to excel in a team-oriented, collaborative, and fast-paced environment
