Position Summary

At Expanse, we help protect some of the largest organizations against hackers and malicious software.

Our small, collaborative Product team is growing and we're looking to hire our very first Technical Program Manager. In this role, you will own cross-functional execution across multiple programs and help define our processes as we continue to scale. Specifically:

• Engineering feature delivery: you will work with Product Management and Engineering on development projects across our multiple scrum teams
• Beta programs: you will identify customers, manage feedback sessions, and track status and success criteria for these new initiatives
• Feature and product launches: you will work with Product Management and Product Marketing to classify, schedule, and plan releases of new products or functionality

This role will be based in our office in San Francisco, CA and will report to the Director of Product Management.  

What You’ll Do

• Identify risks and dependencies for current and upcoming projects
• Build relationships with technical and non-technical stakeholders across the organization to keep teams unblocked and on schedule
• Assist with product quality processes
• Ensure that teams across the company are aligned on priorities and key objectives

About You

• You have professional experience as a Program Manager or in a role that requires similar skills
• You have experience with agile development methodologies
  
• You are able to walk the fine line between process and execution: you can create and scale an effective process while also remaining flexible to changes
• Your are very detail-oriented, which helps you break down ambitious projects into parts and execute effectively
• You are able to communicate complex technical concepts to a variety of audiences
• You can thrive on a fast-growing, cross-functional team; you are able to collaborate and share candid feedback with colleagues
• Experience with project management software is a nice-to-have, but not required
• Prior startup experience is a very nice-to-have, but not required
