The Technical Project Manager will be responsible for the overall delivery of Professional Services’ solution for Zoom Data Center Operations team. This includes project managing the release plans and coordinating with product managers, engineers and operations.
What You'll be doing
Support, coordinate, and execute strategic project work across the Zoom Data Center Operations Team
Manage multiple concurrent projects with multiple work streams that require inputs from cross-functional stakeholders both internally and externally
Lead and manage large scale, company-wide projects through planning, development, launch, stabilization, debrief facilitation and close
Manage and escalate project risks and issues as appropriate, and establish success metrics for projects and ensure performance is tracked and measured
Investigate ways to improve existing processes and fix pain points through automation, streamlining, and program delivery
Measure the outcomes and outputs of projects and process improvement endeavors and leverage quantitative results to inform direction of the business
Must Have
5+ years of experience
Require a BS degree in CS, MIS or equivalent
Networking knowledge and good understanding of network requirements for a VoIP/SIP deployment
Experience working with vendors/carriers, VARS, and circuits
Strong technical aptitude understanding for networking, servers, and cabling within a Data Center)
Experience with agile tools - Jira for task delegation and assignment and tracking completion of items
Flexible and ability to work after hours (at times)
Experience working with Leadership in technical/developer/business communities
Excellent communication skills
