About the Role:

BigPanda is looking for an experienced TechnicalProject Manager to join our growing Customer Success team. In this position, you will put your expertise to use to design project plans, execute projects, influence customer decisions, provide ongoing reports and updates, and guide successful implementations. Be ready to hit the ground running with your regional client experience, critical and creative thinking abilities, attention to detail, and your passion for fast-paced problem-solving. 

This position is remote but ideally based in Austin, Texas or NYC, New York and reports to the Director of Professional Services.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage end to end on-boarding of new customers, from kickoff to an
    integrated production system; must be able to manage multiple projects at a time.
  • Ensure continuous communication about goals, scope, risks and mitigations, and progress of complex and high-value projects.
  • Analyze, drive, and communicate business and technology project requirements.
  • Manage change orders for active projects; identify and close any upsell opportunities for software and/or services in the account
  • Provide consolidated project data reporting and analysis, including summarizing key project information and delivery to senior management.
  • Provide on-site/remote training, guidance, and consultation to technical/non-technical customer resources.
  • Collaborate with our partners during the onboarding phases to ensure our methodologies and high-quality levels are maintained. 
  • Demonstrate strong proficiency in project management practices, methodologies and tools.
  • Lead a coordinated and efficient plan for implementation releases, defining project milestones, and communicating dependencies and associated risks. 
  • Participate in the development, rollout, documentation and communication of system changes, strategies, standards, and processes
  • Develop and maintain technical and product proficiency in the BigPanda product. 
  • Actively contribute to best practices and drive continuous improvement to Customer Success processes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; PMP preferred.
  • 5+ years experience as a Project Manager/Implementation Consultant, responsible for timelines, deliverables, budget and/or resources; at least 3 years in Professional Services.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies; must be able to adapt to customer environment and preferred methodologies and practices. 
  • Strong process orientation - experience leading SaaS project implementations or technical software deployments for Enterprise customers.
  • Experience with ITIL methodology/tools is preferred.
  • Highly detail-oriented, energetic, efficient individual with a “get it done” attitude. 
  • Ability to understand and adapt to customer's processes and technical challenges while providing creative solutions.
  • Capable of building and maintaining strong relationships with a diverse set of internal and external constituencies, including senior level executives and technical leads.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% for certain projects when safe to do so. 

Nice to have:

  • Experience with SaaS.
  • Prior experience working with implementation partners / SIs is a plus
  • Familiarity with the monitoring and/or the ITSM space is a major advantage.
