About you:
The Workplace Project Manager is responsible for facilitating an exceptional office experience, providing managerial support to construction processes for operational improvements and capital expansions. In collaboration with the Workplace Team, delivering solutions with a strong focus on customer service is paramount to provide and maintain a positive office environment. You are an individual who thrives in a fast paced, ever evolving environment, who is highly organized and possesses strong communication skills as well as being very detail oriented, able to successfully prioritize and execute tasks in alignment with the overall goals of the team. You have a growth and development mindset, know how to stay self-motivated, think out of the box and lead with a positive mindset. Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Sr Manager, Construction and Planning to understand the scope of expansion or improvement.
- Manage the construction process for operational improvements and expansions.
- Manage outsourced general contractors and subcontractors.
- Develop project specific bottoms-up budget and timeline for approval.
- Review all architectural plans, lighting proposals, and other documentation related to design development and construction processes.
- Liaise with internal lines of business representatives, regarding requested improvements to operational spaces.
- Collaborate with Sr Manager, Construction and Planning and external Design team to support space planning and construction document development.
- Mange project schedules and budgets for multiple projects at the same time.
- Contributes to and facilitates in the management of an ongoing delightful employee experience by providing operational support and maintaining the general organization and esthetic of the physical office spaces.
- Build an active relationship with business partners and teams to engage, define scope and deliver projects.
- Define scope, budget, schedule and logistics for completion in operational space.
- Collaborate with Sr Manager, Construction and Planning to understand property and landlord delivery conditions.
- Other site specific duties and support may be required.
Experience and Skills:
- A passion for providing exceptional customer service through human connection and and ongoing support.
- 4+ years of experience in commercial construction, preferably within the commercial office sector.
- Proficiency in project management and facilities management software solutions.
- Knowledge of construction & millwork standards.
- Passion for contributing to and building an overall positive workplace experience.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships across departments, work collaboratively.
- Strong organizational and planning skills, ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks, projects, and ever-changing priorities, with proven ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders.
- Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Strategic thinker and problem solver, with a demonstrated ability to develop conclusions and recommendations.
- Ability to manage multiple and complex projects simultaneously, and prioritize actions with ever-changing priorities.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, open, collaborative environment.
- Demonstrates composure and humility while working with internal partners and external vendorsProficiency in CAFM systems, Adobe Creative Suite, and ability to read and interpret floor plans and construction documents, preferred.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Ability to travel.
