Reporting and Data Infrastructure Intern (Summer 2025)

About the role

Chime is looking for a Reporting and Data Infrastructure Intern to join our OMX Reporting & Insights team. You will gain valuable professional experience working with industry leading reporting tools, database systems, analytical tools, and a talented team of analysts. This is an exciting opportunity to learn while playing a role in a critical initiative at Chime.

This role is structured as a 3 month engagement. The starting hourly rate offered for this role and target level of experience will begin at $29 and up to $42. The actual base salary offered may be higher, depending on your location, skills, qualifications, and experience. 

In this role, you can expect to

• Work in database systems to read, understand, and update SQL code to ensure the reliability of reporting.
• Work in the back-end of our reporting tool to read, understand, and update LookML code to optimize reporting.
• Learn and implement Data Governance best practices to maintain reporting integrity.
• Work in tools like Hex to surface insights to stakeholders based on statistical performance of KPIs.
• Collaborate with other analysts, subject matter experts, and decision makers to provide actionable reporting to improve the overall member experience.

To thrive in this role, you:       

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business with an emphasis in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field of study from an accredited college or university
• Strong organizational, analytical, interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
• Creative thinker and self starter with a passion for consumer FinTech
• Are flexible and enjoy doing whatever it takes to execute on complex projects
• Have a low ego and are comfortable working directly well with a wide range of stakeholders
