Compensation Range: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00/year base & OTE ~ $105,000.00 - $115,000.00

About this Role

This role will report to the Head of Inside Sales and is responsible for actively managing Bellwether Coffee’s sales pipeline. The position will grow the qualified lead pipeline for Account Executives across both inbound and outbound efforts, working closely with the marketing and sales teams. The SDR’s duties will include lead flow management, qualifying leads, prospect communications, and reporting with the goal of maximizing both near term and long term revenue for Bellwether. 

This is a high-impact entry role with a clear path to Account Executive as our customer base and team continue to grow.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Drive a high volume of daily outreach (calls, emails, texts) to prospects.
  • Manage and qualify hundreds of inbound leads monthly, ensuring timely follow-up
  • Deliver Bellwether’s value proposition clearly and effectively to prospects
  • Update fields in the CRM based on lead information and activities 
  • Qualify leads on most recent criteria and route to the appropriate Account Executives
  • Execute outbound and account-based marketing (ABM) activities to target coffee businesses that fit our Ideal Customer Profile (ICP).
  • Partner with Marketing to nurture leads through the funnel until they’re sales-ready. 
  • Evolve processes for efficiency and impact to streamline the sales development function 
  • Support Bellwether sales events to engage with prospects (virtual and in-person) 
  • Meet or exceed quota for sales meetings booked
  • Regularly provide status report to team; participate in performance and learnings meeting
  • Contribute to special projects and initiatives as needed.

 

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years professional experience in sales (preferably B2B for SMB)  
  • Bachelor’s degree in a marketing/sales related field preferred or equivalent experience 
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication 
  • Demonstrated social/interpersonal and relationship management skills
  • Independent self-starter with high sense of urgency and ownership 
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and process driven
  • Familiarity with retail business
  • Basic understanding of CRM and ESP systems (Hubspot, Salesforce) 
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time within the United States
  • Comfort working in a fast paced environment, dealing with change, and collaborating closely with others
  • Coffee industry experience a plus
  • You are authorized to work in the U.S.
