Your role at Clorox:

Supports Sales Planning team by gathering, analyzing and reporting sales related data. Leads sales input process for innovation programs in the
assigned Category and/or Brand. Works with Sales Planning Team members to assist in development of 18-month Category Plan.

In this role, you will:

  • Engage our People as Business Owners: Develop individual capabilities to promote growth. (20%)
  • Drive the Business: Contributes to business planning for the Cleaning BU. Works with cross-functional partners and customer/field teams to bring 
    the Sales perspective into the BU. Create and update complex reports for sales planning team, BU project teams and customer teams. Create reports that support a broad range of internal stakeholders (Sales Leadership, Business Insights Group, Demand Planning, Analytic Insights, etc.) (30%)
  • Customer and Category Support: Provides input into Cleaning business plan, while integrating customer plans as appropriate. Independently gather and interpret data and identify business drivers and opportunities. Lead sales input process for core business activities including innovation and forecasting. (30%)
  • Build Capability to Drive Growth and Eliminate Waste: Uses appropriate tools, processes, resources to support the Cleaning organization. Communicate 
    findings with wide variety of stakeholders including sales planning teams, internal BU functions, field sales/ customer teams, retailer contacts and Clorox leadership. (20%)

What we look for:

  • 2+ years of CPG experience
  • Previous Sales Planning and/or Field/Customer experience 
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office applications: Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex information to a broad audience
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and within a team environment

Workplace type:

This role will require the Sales Planning Senior Analyst to be based out of the Oakland, CA Clorox Hub location and will abide to the Hybrid 2.0 Return to Office policy, 3x per week in office.

We use broad salary ranges that reflect the competitive market for similar jobs, provide sufficient opportunity for growth as you gain experience and expand responsibilities, while also allowing for differentiation based on performance. Based on the breadth of our ranges, most new hires will start at Clorox in the first half of the applicable range. Your starting pay will depend on job-related factors, including relevant skills, knowledge, experience and location. The applicable salary range for every role in the U.S. is based on your work location and is aligned to one of three zones according to the cost of labor in your area.

–Zone A: $88,700 - $165,900

–Zone B: $81,300 - $152,100

–Zone C: $73,900 - $138,300

This job is also eligible for participation in Clorox’s incentive plans, subject to the terms of the applicable plan documents and policies.
