We are seeking a Small Business Account Executive to work closely with Recurly’s Sales team. We love helping businesses and we are looking for a driven SMB Account Executive to sell our solutions to small and mid-sized businesses. In order to be considered, candidates must have SaaS or startup sales experience and should have 1+ years of sales experience, ideally in technology. You must be scrappy and committed to making a difference, doing the right thing, and always driving extraordinary results.
Compensation & Benefits
Estimated annual salary for this role may range from $70,500.00 to $80,000.00 and On-Target-Earnings (OTE) commission plan.

Responsibilities:
- Inbound:
- Qualify inbound opportunities
- Demo decision maker, influencer, technical, and C-Suite
- Ask for the business
- Outbound:
- Create target list
- Create and execute touch points strategy
- Book outbound meetings
- Present and Demo to C-Suite executives
- Ask for the business
- Support the Sales organization and act as a team player who shares in their peers' successes as well as their own
- Follow up with prospects and customers in an extremely organized manner
- Embue entrepreneurial spirit and thrive in a dynamic environment
- Be a self starter; ask for what one needs
- Post COVID-19 Restrictions:
- Attend monthly prospecting events and trade shows
- Up to 30% travel
Requirements:
- 2+ Years of experience in SMB and Mid-market SaaS sales
- Proven track record of outbounding, cold calling, and closing
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets
- High intellectual curiosity and passion for learning
- Resourceful and creative prospecting abilities
- Flexible and adaptable to change; coach-ability is key
- Results-driven and have a consistent track record of exceeding quota
- Analytical, detail-driven and a master multitasker
- Strong knowledge of Salesforce and how to effectively manage your sales pipeline
- Experience presenting/demoing software and are comfortable selling to all audiences
- Experience working in start-up environments you must be adept at working in a fast- paced environment and have shown yourself to be adaptive and flexible
