ABOUT THE ROLE
The Associate Account Executive role is designed to provide you with the training required to sell sophisticated online marketing services while still contributing to the company's bottom line. Associate Account Executives at Metric Theory are high energy, analytical, and eager to help us grow our customer base.
What is the day-to-day like? You go through an extensive proven internal classroom and hands on training program led by the Metric Theory sales management team, which carries a 20+ year combined track record of developing people and over-delivering on quotas in both technology and services sales. During Sales Training you will master the core fundamentals of what drives a successful SEM & online marketing campaign and learn our sophisticated sales methodology. This includes Google Ads competency, mastery of the industry's most cutting edge online marketing technology platforms, and consultative analysis skills that will enable you to communicate SEM strategies to some of the world's largest brands.
After the initial month of heavy training, you start to execute on the initial stages of our sales process. This includes prospecting, significant research/analysis on an advertiser's campaigns, and lead generation through cold calling and emailing. Experience shows us that the best way to master SEM consultation and sales is by learning to talk-the-talk and shadowing the Account Executives in their meetings. Consistent mentoring and coaching by the management team helps to ensure full development and success.

• 4 year college degree or equivalent work experience
• Passion for a career in Tech and Advertising Sales
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Natural leadership qualities and a long term goal of managing people
• Interest in Online Marketing
