The Associate Director - Sales Operations will be responsible for contributing to the success of the Grail sales team by employing analytics, technology and consultation. Other responsibilities include developing and maintaining a motivating and compliant incentive program, collaborating with IT to maintain the Salesforce CRM platform, develop engaging and informative dashboards and provide general support to the entire sales team. This candidate should be able to address complex topics with minimal support and be willing to address smaller tasks with equal amount of attention to detail. Strong quantitative skills as well as strong communications skills are vital to the success of this role.
You Will:
- Collaborate with Sales Leadership to develop metrics and interactive analytics dashboards to generate actionable insights contributing to achieving and exceeding objectives.
- Provide objective quantitative analyses and identify key opportunities and address critical business issues for the products.
- Inform sales force size and structure recommendations for all products throughout the life cycles.
- Establish and maintain business relationships with key stakeholders within the Commercial organization, and consistently demonstrate a thorough understanding of business needs.
- Develop and administer a rewarding and compliant incentive program for the sales team. Lead the incentive committee through the plan development and approval process. Own and maintain IC policy.
- Collaborate with IT to develop and maintain the CRM platform.
- Deploy key sales and marketing programs through the use of the CRM platform or other tools. Track and report key metrics related to these programs.
- Address questions from the sales team regarding performance, analytics, incentives or other topics.
- Lead implementation for field sales devices and software in collaboration with IT.
Your Background Should Include:
- Ability to work out of Menlo Park office.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Data Science & Analytics, or related field. MBA or other advanced degrees are a plus.
- 6+ years of relevant diagnostics, pharmaceutical, or medical device experience.
- 4+ years of experience developing and/or enhancing systems to operationalize processes for cross-functional teams or to report on progress with key stakeholders (i.e., leads management, performance dashboards, project tracking software, etc.).
- Demonstrated strength in performing complex analyses and the ability to present data and recommendations to a variety of audiences throughout an organization.
- Ability to initiate and drive projects forward with little supervision.
- Strong sense of ethics and commitment to compliance.
