ABOUT THE ROLE
The Uber Eats New Verticals team is looking for an experienced and competitive Sales Manager to join our SMB Sales team. As our Sales Manager, you will lead a group of sales representatives expanding into new merchant categories across the platform. The ideal candidate is highly motivated and self-driven with a clear passion for growing new verticals with a sense of ownership and pride in your impact on the company's success.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
• Cultivate a highly successful and engaged sales team through hands-on coaching and development• Lead team of Sellers to drive commercial strategy and priorities• Develop, manage and evaluate sales targets on an on-going basis• Collaborate cross-functionally with sales & merchant operations to streamline processes• Build vision and strategy for winning new categories
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• 4+ years of work experience across operations, sales, or account management, or 2+ years of relevant experience at Uber
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Experience being a leader among peers, influencing cross-functional partners and setting an example for others• An entrepreneurial mindset, passion for building things, working towards a shared goal, and ownership of outcomes• Experience working closely and communicating effectively with diverse set of stakeholders in an ever-changing, rapid growth environment
