Business Value Consultant

As a foundational member of our Go-to-Market (GTM) Enablement team, you will create tangible methods to communicate the business value of using Moveworks for our prospects, customers, partners, and GTM team.

As we create our own category, there is no established formula for positioning and evaluating the impact of AI in the enterprise, which makes this role critical to demonstrate the value of our solution. We’re paving new ground, but by drawing on proven results and techniques.

We’re building a team that will thrive in a dynamic sales environment, laser-focused on consistently surpassing our revenue targets. To be successful, you’ll not only work closely with our founders and Sales leaders but also build strong relationships with our Data Insights, Finance, and Customer Success teams. 

This cross-functional collaboration will be key to scaling a value engineering program that demonstrates to customers a significant return on their investment, as well as an engagement model that positions them for a long-lasting partnership with Moveworks.

What you’ll do:

  • Partner with Sales on strategic accounts to develop a value realization perspective, which includes both a clear articulation of Moveworks’ business case and an analytical ROI model
  • Codify the value realization process through a repeatable framework that aligns prospects, customers, and our GTM team around the business value that Moveworks delivers. The framework should be robust enough to stretch across an entire sales cycle
  • Operationalize the value realization framework through enablement programs for our GTM organization and leadership team 
  • Ensure our value messaging evolves with our product roadmap and scales with our growing team
  • Establish feedback loops across the GTM team that allows us to continually iterate and improve on our value messaging

What you bring to the table:

  • 5+ years experience as part of an enterprise software sales or customer success team, focused specifically on value consulting or value engineering 
  • A deep understanding of how big data and analytics can support SaaS sales cycles
  • Excellent business case creation and analysis skills
  • Strong financial modeling proficiency and business acumen
  • Strong workshop facilitation and presentation skills 
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate complex concepts concisely and clearly
  • An uncanny attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Strong written, oral communication, and presentation skills
  • Willingness to learn and an openness to giving and receiving feedback
  • Comfortable and confident presenting new concepts to large audiences
  • Bachelor’s degree

Located in the heart of Silicon Valley, Moveworks Headquarters is adjacent to downtown retail, dining, and shopping with easy direct access to major freeways. Our building is surrounded by large, mature trees and plenty of free parking. We enjoy a high walk score with ample bike and running paths.
