Sisu is looking for an experienced Corporate Account Executive to join our growing go-to-market team. In this role, you’ll work directly with product, marketing, and the executive team to source, qualify, and close new business.

You’ll have the opportunity to define and build what sales means at Sisu, instilling our values and serving as the voice of the customer from the very start of their relationship with us. Creative, energetic, and self-driven, you understand the customer and their use cases and know how to translate customer needs into a value-driven proposal. You’re an expert at balancing relationships and a process-driven sale in a complex market, and you bring a data-savvy approach to your profession.

What you'll accomplish:

  • Achieve sales quota for assigned territory and/or accounts
  • Maintain appropriate sales development activity to ensure healthy pipeline management
  • Manage the complete sales cycle, from prospecting to discovery, proposal and close
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to develop your territory
  • Prioritize opportunities and coordinate resources across the Sisu team to provide the best possible customer experience and customer outcomes
  • Provide feedback (prospect needs, industry trends, market perceptions, competitive intelligence, etc.) to company management, Marketing and Product Management teams

What you'll need to be successful:

  • 2-3 years of experience in B2B software sales in a quota-carrying position 
  • Prior role emphasis on databases, business intelligence software, data warehousing, data analytics is a plus
  • A multi-year track record of quota overachievement
  • Extensive experience in prospecting, both self-driven and in partnership with sales development teams
  • Extensive experience in or exposure to relationship development, pricing delivery, negotiations, and closing
  • Be familiar with solution-based approach to selling, have experience managing a complex sales process and possess excellent presentation and listening skills, organization and contact management capabilities
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced startup environment, comfortable with ambiguity and rolling up your sleeves 
  • Cross-functional team player, experience collaborating with Sales Development, Sales Engineering, and Customer Success teams
