About The Role & Team


Amplitude is rapidly expanding its customer base and we are looking to bring someone onto the team who can help build customer relationships and grow accounts in the SMB segment. This individual will work closely with both the Sales and Customer Success teams to ensure an ideal on-boarding process, long term customer experience with Amplitude, and ultimately drive upsells for an existing book of business.


 As a Corporate Account Manager, you will: 

  • Work with AEs and CSMs to establish a regular cadence of communication with assigned customers
  • Leverage understanding of customer portfolio to prioritize customers and drive expansion within key accounts
  • Help establish a scalable and accurate expansion forecasting process
  • Handle order form drafting and working with deal desk if and when complex expansions are required
  • Find alignment and buy-in from stakeholders on initial processes
  • Adapt processes as business needs change and teams grow/change


You'll be a great addition to the team if you have: 

  • At least 1 years in a customer-facing role, (either account management, new business sales, or sales development)
  • Excellent relationship building skills with demonstrated success building relationships with Executives within customer accounts
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated ability to explain complex concepts in a concrete and understandable way
  • Experience negotiating and handling commercial conversations with customers
  • Ability to spot issues and problem solve with exceptional attention to detail
