About the Job:

As a Director of BD, Fleet Management Companies (FMCs) you will develop and execute strategic partnerships and business plans with a targeted set of fleet management companies. The role requires strong leadership skills along with a proven ability to contribute towards and deliver results. You will collaborate closely with business development, product and sales leadership to drive alignment, build partner pipeline and execute Go-To-Market strategies to grow and optimize new channels of revenue for KeepTruckin.

The ideal candidate thrives in a fast paced environment and enjoys the opportunities that rapid growth creates. You should have a proven track record of leadership in a high performing sales or business development organization. This role will report into the VP of Business Development and can sit anywhere in the United States as a remote option, or in any of our state of the art offices as well (San Francisco, Nashville, Chicago).

Responsibilities:

  • Identify, evaluate and prioritize partnership acquisition efforts, performing quantitative and qualitative due diligence
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders across sales, marketing, operations and product teams to ensure close alignment on deals before, during and after execution
  • Design and execute Go-To-Market business plans, managing cross-functional teams from both the partner and KeepTruckin
  • Proactively lead a joint partner planning process that develops mutual performance objectives, targets, and milestones associated with a successful partner relationship

Qualifications:

  • Depth of expertise working for or partnering with FMCs
  • 7-10 years experience managing, developing and leading sales or business development teams
  • Prefer at least 5 years managing direct reports
  • Go-To-Market focused - an ability to align product, marketing, business development and sales organizations to drive execution
  • Visionary, strategic thinker with a knack for building relationships and negotiating with internal and external audiences
  • Lead with player-coach mentality, act hands-on and empower teams to creatively problem-solve
  • BA/BS in related field
