About Your Role: 


The Director of Enterprise Sales Development will oversee a team of 10 Enterprise SDRs, as well as our Inbound team, and Account Management SDR team. You will manage both individual contributors and managers while playing a pivotal role in Sendoso’s pipeline generating efforts. Your Typical Day:

  • Recruit, train, and develop a team of world-class enterprise SDRs and SDR managers.
  • Plan, forecast, and understand ramp-adjusted capacity to ensure the team is grown effectively, in tandem with the needs of our sales organization and the supply of inbound demand from marketing. Including Manage SDR rosters for tracking quota capacity and productivity, regularly reporting on any areas that need improvement/optimization.
  • Support company segmentation efforts by aligning SDR org to A/E target accounts that are within ICP / Buying Cycle, and Program Priorities. Regularly report on results and continually refine the approach to deliver consistent target attainments.
  • Ensure we efficiently and effectively qualify inbound demand as well as develop outbound strategies per region while leveraging digital and field marketing resources for particular campaigns.
  • Manage SDR reports and dashboards to ensure the results delivered can be easily understood by stakeholders throughout the organization.
  • Motivate and develop SDRs in alignment with our ABM framework in order to exceed goals through coaching and incentives and grow their careers. A successful candidate will be equal parts business manager and talent developer.
  • Partner with HR and other functional leaders to effectively manage paths for career advancement within the SDR functions, as well as to roles within other areas of the business, including sales.
  • Partner with marketing to develop campaigns and outreach strategies into target and priority accounts. Regularly report on results to uplevel and maintain consistent campaign performance. Continually iterate and refine the sales development process, methodology, campaigns, hiring profiles, training, and enablement, with close alignment to Sendoso’s business objectives and core values.
  • Work closely with marketing, sales, and people ops to ensure SDR onboarding program and ongoing training is up-to-date on our current product offering.
  • Partner with sales and marketing operations to ensure the SDR team has the best tools to do their job, and that they are configured to ensure SDR efficiency and productivity, including use of salesforce.com and Outreach.
  • Focus on the quality of opportunities without sacrificing quantity. The four core metrics this role should care about are the impact on the sales cycle, close rates, pipeline contribution, and average deal size.

Experience:

  • Proven track record of delivering sales pipeline at large enterprise accounts through leading outbound prospecting teams.
  • Responsible for creating and iterating the sales development process, methodology, campaigns, hiring profiles, training, and enablementExperience managing an inbound and outbound prospecting team with at least 20 total direct and indirect reports.
  • Power-user of salesforce.com and Outreach with the ability to create SDR content for sequences. Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the proven ability to partner with marketing and sales to drive Tier 1 programs that are top quality in terms of written content, talk tracks, and execution. Ability to drive cross-functional alignment and coordination across sales and marketing teams.
  • Ability to attract, retain, and motivate exceptional SDRs and SDR managers.
  • Have a working knowledge of our tech stack Chili Piper, LeadIQ, SalesNav, 6Sense, and Demandbase.
  • Excellent writing skills.
  • Accurate, nuanced, direct, and kind messaging.
  • Being able to work independently, respond quickly, and meet deadlines.
  • Able to articulate the Sendoso mission, values, and vision.
  • Ability to use Sendoso.

  • Pipeline values
  • Sales Accepted Opportunity attainment vs. goal
  • Marketing Qualified Lead conversion rates
  • Sales close rates for SDR generated Opportunities
  • SDR Efficiency and return on investment
