The Role:
Carrot is seeking a Partnerships Director to lead Carrot’s commercial/channel partnerships strategy. The Partnerships Director will be responsible for developing Carrot’s commercial partnerships strategy, identifying new referral/resale partnership candidates, negotiating all aspects of the contract and ensuring the partnership’s ultimate success.
The Partnerships Director will focus on commercial referral and resale partnerships, excluding health plans. These could include healthcare navigators, wellness platforms, benefits administration providers, etc. The idea candidate brings experience structuring comparable deals and a perspective on the types of partners that would elevate Carrot’s market reputation and help grow our business.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop a partnership strategy for Carrot, including key categories to target, commercial positioning, etc.
- Pursue or respond to partnership opportunities, collaborating with Sales, Product and Legal to align the necessary elements.
- Own contract negotiations, partnership implementation and ongoing support
- Partner to design and deliver the necessary internal and external training to ensure partnership success

The Team:
The Partnerships Director will partner closely with a designated Solutions Consultant, and will report to the VP of Sales.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 2-3 years in a similar commercial partnerships role
- Experience working in the digital health or benefits technology industry
- Understanding of the Benefits ecosystem
- Perspective on the critical commercial terms of resale/reseller partnerships
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3-5 years in a similar commercial partnerships role
- 5+ years in the health technology or benefits space is preferred
- Proven track record of establishing successful partnerships
- Strong established industry relationships
