About the Job:

KeepTruckin is looking for a Director, Sales Development to lead our Small Business, Mid Market, and Enterprise segments. With 125+ Sales Development Reps across segments, our Sales Development organization is already operating at scale, but we are just getting started. The market opportunity is unbounded and we have built the best-in-class fleet management platform for trucking companies.

 

The ideal candidate thrives in a fast paced environment and enjoys the challenges that rapid growth creates. You should have a proven track record of leadership in a high performing sales organization. You should be able to recruit, set goals and hold your teams accountable.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the hiring, coaching and inspiration of a team of SDRs across our Small Business, Mid Market, and Enterprise segments
  • Enable individual SDR and team SDR performance to meet monthly, quarterly, and annual goals and related performance objectives
  • Drive capacity planning, goal attainment, measurement/improvement and compensation design to maximize team results
  • Work with Sales and Marketing to systematically improve the lead qualification processes to optimize team efficiency, effectiveness, and lead quality
  • Partner with business unit leaders to ensure goals and expectations are in alignment
  • Work with Sales Enablement & Operations to define and instill best practice prospecting methodologies and processes across all aspects of pipeline generation
  • Develop effective messaging and tools to engage prospects within each Fleet Size segment
  • Communicate regularly with sales and executive leadership on the state of sales development. 

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 7 years experience managing, developing and leading sales development teams in a growth-stage environment (startup experience highly preferred )
  • Minimum 1 year experience achieving or exceeding quota in a technical closing role and have managed leaders/managers previously
  • Adept at handling sales technology and CRMs like Salesforce & Outreach
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments as well as working through unknowns that can often develop with a sales and product roadmap that iterates and adapts as quickly as KeepTruckin does
  • Visionary, strategic thinker with a knack for building alliances and negotiating with internal and external audiences
  • Lead with player-coach mentality, act hands-on, empower teams to creatively problem-solve, and are motivated to mentor up-and-coming talent
  • Experience leading an international team a plus
