The Role
Afterpay is looking for a passionate leader to build and manage our SMB go to market strategy and sales. Your leadership will directly help Afterpay drive profitability and make a significant contribution to developing Afterpay’s overall sales strategy, increasing the size and impact of the team and establishing a culture of crisp execution.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the development of an industry-leading go-to-market strategy for SMB merchant acquisition
- Be a key driving force in continuing Afterpay’s sales team growthBuild predictable and repeatable sales funnel processes and best practices across multiple teams, including sales development, professional services, and sales enablement/training
- Demonstrate the ability both to delegate as well as personally leverage sales productivity tools (Salesforce, Outreach, Calendly, etc) to enable sales team
- Partner with Sales Ops, Finance, Product, Marketing, and Risk to remove obstacles and close deals
- Own solidifying and scaling the outbound sales process
Qualifications
- 10+ years of sales success, preferably in a high growth SaaS company
- 10+ years of leadership experience, experience leading sales & sales operations functions
- World-class operational skill in developing processes to execute SMB strategy
- Extensive experience in a metrics-driven sales organizationOutstanding eye for finding and developing talent
- Proven ability to work with and influence cross-functional teams and departments in a rapidly growing environment
- Proven ability to communicate and manage relationships with senior executives
- Excellent interpersonal, leadership, organizational, and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working for a high transaction volume ecommerce or payments platform company
