Manager, Account Management

We are looking for a Manager, Account Management to join Team Snapchat! In this role, you will lead the development and growth of the regional Sales team in a fun, fast-paced and fluid environment. Working from our Los Angeles or San Francisco office, you will focus on generating revenue, creating optimization strategies, identifying performance trends, driving efficiency in our processes, and acting as a coach and mentor to the Account Management team in your region.
What you’ll do:
Lead team of Account Managers who focus primarily on mobile first advertisers, including but not limited to Mobile Gaming, On-Demand Services, Fintech, Media and Real Money Gaming.
Work closely with sales managers to identify opportunities and develop action plans to drive incremental revenue, with a focus on campaign management tactics
Partner closely with the Product Marketing team as the primary communication channel for product updates to our sales teams, funneling up market feedback to the product team, and serving as the point of escalation for troubleshooting complex product issues
Own cross-functional relationships related to campaign management and measurement with teams such as Marketing Science, Creative Strategy and Business Support
Develop vertical- and objective-specific playbooks and processes to drive consistency and operational efficiency within the region, in partnership with Business Marketing
Support sales training curriculum development in partnership with Sales Enablement and Product Marketing
Identify regional and vertical trends and best practices, and develop channels to share these globally with sales leaders and cross-functional partners
Oversee internal campaign management and operations (e.g. troubleshooting issues, account set up, etc.)
Support strategic relationships across key accounts or as needed
Develop and refine day-to-day operations and strategic prioritization, partnering with Sales managers on career pathing, performance management, and growth of the Account Management team
Coach and mentor 15+ Account Managers and Account Strategists, serving as the voice and representative of these roles to sales leadership
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Demonstrated ability to identify and solve problems by analyzing large data sets
Expert understanding of all types of advertising performance metrics and measurement and attribution approaches. Specifically with app marketers
Strong analytical and strategic thinking, with the ability to identify key opportunities and transform them into action
Ability to lead multiple projects with strong attention to detail
Ability to lead presentations and drive decisions at a senior management level – internally and with our external advertising partners
Ability to work in a fast paced environment and adaptable to changes
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, marketing, or another related area of study or equivalent years of experience
10+ years experience in the digital media industry, with a focus on performance marketing, ad-tech, programmatic, or similar field
Preferred Qualifications:
Management experience in digital media or a similar industry
Proven performance in managing and building an excellent client services or growth marketing team
Deep knowledge across auction-based digital platforms (e.g., Google, Facebook, YouTube, Instagram and DSPs) and a strong point of view on success drivers for media management across both performance and brand marketing goals
Product commercialization or marketing experience with responsibility for driving product-market fit and prioritizing customer needs based on sales feedback
Deep experience working effectively with cross-functional teams and all levels of management (internally and externally)
A passion for Snapchat as a user and solid knowledge of our ad products
