This proprietary clinico-genomic dataset, with recontactable individuals and actively enrolling programs, powers our life sciences segment and helps our life sciences partners bring innovative therapies to patients faster and more efficiently. 

Job Description:

Helix is hiring a Manager/Sr Manager of Business Development, Health Systems to partner with our Business Development team to expand our population genomics business within the health system and IDN networks of the United States. You will work closely with the senior members of the Business Development team to drive new business by generating new leads, qualify new opportunities, organize and facilitate meetings with potential clients, and close deals. This is a remote role that will focus on a unique set of national level clients. The right candidate will have superb communication skills, be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and have experience in the healthcare industry. 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a prioritized list of national clients across a variety of segments including health systems, IDNs, AMCs, ACOs, and payers. 
  • In each of these segments, generate and qualify new leads through proactive outreach efforts as well as management of inbound leads from existing channels
  • For qualified leads, set up and facilitate initial conversations to understand clients’ goals and pain points and introduce them to understand  the Helix offering
  • Work closely with the business development team to generate new ideas and foster existing leads in addition to working cross-functionally with colleagues across the Helix team
  • Work with CRM and other analytics tools for lead management, pipeline tracking, reporting, etc.

Qualifications

  • 4-8 years of experience in enterprise healthcare sales driving the sales process from lead generation, qualifying, engaging, contracting, and deal closing.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience presenting in front of a wide range of client types
  • Ability to develop and sustain strong client relationships
  • Comfortable working in a metrics-driven role and environment
  • Willingness to contribute in a variety of ways, even if outside formal responsibilities
  • Highly motivated with the ability to work in a fast paced environment and makes things happen
  • Bachelor’s degree Required 

An ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience using Salesforce
  • Experience in genomics, genomics technology, and/or population health. 
  • Experience bringing new and novel 
  • Experience calling on the C-suite of health systems and IDNs nationally.
