The Customer Success Project Manager ("PM") is a member of the Client Services organization reporting to a Customer Success Team Leader. The PM will be part of a small team (three colleagues) of highly skilled, senior resources with a charter to have significant impact on customer retention and success through pro-active analysis and engagement with customers to drive usage and adoption of Sage Intacct products. Responsibilities include coordination across multiple internal organizations such as Customer Success, Product Management, Engineering, Professional Services, and Customer Support, as well as with Value Added Resellers ("VAR"), and customers (both Direct and Channel). The PM must be well organized to coordinate meetings, drive agendas and drive follow-up activity internally within the organizations mentioned, with VAR Partners, and Sage Intacct Customers.

Responsibilities:

As a Project Manager within Client Services the candidate will

  • Demonstrate project management, consulting, communication, and leadership skills to lead and deliver Intacct software projects with cross functional teams 
  • Manage customer, partner, and internal expectations and deliver high quality solutions on-time within scope and budget 
  • Deliver projects with high customer satisfaction and successful customer adoption 
  • Provide effective translation and documentation of customer requirements into configurable software solutions and business management processes 
  • Demonstrate knowledge of Financial Accounting Software (Sage Intacct Software knowledge and expertise required)
  • Capable of minimal level of hands-on configuration of the software and data uploading/management activities 
  • Collaborate and work with internal organizations 
  • Work with Product Management and Engineering to understand product roadmap to address customer requirements and issues 
  • Work with Customer Success to identify customer trends and coordinate cross functional discussions to address customer requirements and issues 
  • Work with Services Delivery teams (Sage Intacct Professional Services, VAR Partners) to understand customer setup / implementation activities and coordinate services required to address customer requirements and issues 
  • Work with Sage Intacct Customer Support to understand customer case history

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in business or accounting. 
  • Minimum of five (5) years' experience managing and implementing ERP/financial applications, preferably in a consultant capacity for minimum of 2 – 3 years. 
  • Project management, communication, customer leadership, and software delivery skills including the ability to proactively manage customer expectations, project plans, scope creep, budgets, multiple team resources, issues, and internal/external statuses. 
  • Consulting and project management experience end-to-end through the entire software delivery lifecycle following a process-based methodology. 
  • Advanced business analytics skills solving complex problems and interpreting customer requirements into deliverable solutions. 
  • Knowledge of finance and accounting including basic accounting processes/principles. 
  • Experience with supply chain concepts and typical business requirements for purchasing, selling, and managing both inventory and non-inventory products. 
  • Detail-oriented with strong documentation skills. 
  • Ability to successfully multi-task across projects, customers, and internal activities. 
  • Highly enthusiastic, proactive, positive-minded, customer focused, and service-oriented. 
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment. 
  • Fast learner and self-starter. 
  • Strong desire to get things right rather than get things done. Desire to go "above and beyond". 
  • Industry knowledge in the software and services verticals. 
  • Programming/coding experience is a plus and valuable for translating business requirements into technical solutions and being able to "speak the language" of technology. 
  • PMP certification a plus.
