About the Team

  • The Caviar for Companies Restaurant Operations team is responsible for restaurant onboarding, account management, menu curation, and nutrition optimization
  • We work with our restaurant partners to curate delicious meals that meet the unique needs of our clients
  • We impact our restaurants by driving revenue to valuable partners during their non-peak hours 
  • We impact our customers by providing unique office meals from their favorite local restaurants that include full ingredients, allergens and nutrition facts 
  • Key initiatives the team is focused on include improving our restaurant supply through quality assurance and updated menu offerings (e.g. vegetarian options, seasonal offerings, etc), providing nutrition information on our menus, and working cross-functionally with other business units to continually improve operations

About the Role

  • In this role, you will be responsible for building key partnerships through proactive engagement and account management, serving as a primary point-of-contact for strategic partners
  • You will handle restaurant communications regarding meal problems, while developing the best course of action for improvement
  • Key focus areas include utilizing data to provide actionable feedback to our partners, developing new menu proposals, updating and negotiating prices
  • Success is measured by maintaining happy restaurant partners on the platform, fulfilling menu update requests in a timely manner, maintaining low restaurant root-cause meal issues, and maintaining competitively priced menus
  • You will be expected to work directly with restaurant partners (via phone and email)

  • You are comfortable having difficult conversations and providing actionable feedback in an empathetic manner
  • You are a strong, independent worker who can take initiative and roll out new processes
  • You have experience with G-suite (particularly Sheets/Excel), and data analytics platforms (e.g. Looker or Chartio)
  • You are comfortable negotiating prices and building menus within set parameters
  • You have experience working directly with or in restaurants, preferred
  • 3-5 years work experience in account management
  • You have a passion for food and the restaurant industry
  • You are an extremely effective communicator, both written and verbal
