Sales Development Representative, New Verticals

As a Revenue Development Representative, also known as Sales Development Representative, you will develop critical sales skills from some of the industry’s Master’s of Revenue. The skills you learn here will differentiate you from everyone else in the world and will help set you up for a prosperous career. This is an excellent opportunity for a new college grad or someone looking to get in to sales, as previous sales experience is not required.
This role is unique because you’ll be supporting Clari’s Industry Verticals expansion, a key strategic growth area for the company. You’ll work closely with our VP of Industry Solutions to build pipeline by setting up qualified meetings with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Finance, and IT teams across industries such as Healthcare Solutions, Financial Services, Professional Services, Media/Advertising, and High Tech Manufacturing. Your ability to have a strong point of view on every business within these industries will be critical for your success and Clari’s.

Responsibilities
- Create, update and maintain POV (point of view) documents on every target prospective account
- Have an understanding of the way businesses in various industry verticals operate, how they make decisions, how they make money, what their selling motion is like, and the priorities that drive decisions from the C-level
- Understand nuances across the various relevant industry verticals to effectively educate them on why improving their revenue processes is critical
- Partner with field Sales organization and Marketing to target the right accounts to drive pipeline and revenue goals
- Deliver and craft world-class cold calls and personalized messages
- Master the pitch for an unmatched product
- Prospect into industry-leading firms with a modern, differentiated product
- Successfully manage and overcome sales objections
- Achieve qualified meeting and opportunity goals with sales executives and sales operations professionals by converting inbound leads and generating leads from targeted account prospecting
- Team with Marketing to run data-driven nurturing campaigns
- Document prospect interaction in Salesforce to ensure efficient lead management
- Provide direct communication with account executives to effectively manage pipeline opportunities
