We are a rapidly growing team, currently supporting multiple Top 25 biopharma customers, and we have ambitious plans to continue to expand our SaaS offerings. Our Commercial Operations team is seeking a talented, driven Sales Development Representative (Inside Sales) to manage and work side-by-side with the leadership team to build out the Sales Development function. This role will be a mix of sales development tasks and team management.

Successful candidates must have a strong work ethic, excitement to be part of Komodo Health and the drive to exceed sales targets. Working closely with our Head of Sales, Head of Customer Experience, and Director of Commercial Operations will give you the opportunity to quickly develop your career in sales. You will learn from the best and quickly get a detailed understanding of the Life Sciences industry and our unique data analytics solution. Self-motivated individuals looking to build a solid foundation in sales are an ideal fit for this position.

Requirements:

You will:

  • Prospect, identify, and qualify new business opportunities for our sales team, and expansion opportunities for the Account Management team to contact via outbound cold calling, email outreach, and networking via social media (e.g. LinkedIn)
  • Research prospects and identify stakeholders using industry standard tools in order to generate interest and create rapport
  • Manage expectations and overcome objections
  • Maintain an organized pipeline and activity records using salesforce.com
  • Reach and exceed key performance indicators, including calls scheduled, calls completed, qualified opportunities and deals won from your meetings

You have:

  • Strong interest in building a career in sales with an entrepreneurial mindset and eagerness to advance through defined learning and earning paths
  • The self-discipline and strong organizational skills; ability to consistently hit daily and monthly objectives
  • An ambitious attitude that displays initiative and persistence, all with a competitive drive with a positive and energetic attitude with exceptional communication skills
  • Resilience, perseverance, and the ability to overcome objections
  • Ability to work in a high-energy sales-team environment
  • Sincere interest in working at an early-stage startup and scaling with the company through this period of tremendous growth
  • Cold calling, sales training and Salesforce.com experience is a plus, but not required
  • Prior experience working with or selling to Life Sciences companies is a plus

Qualifications:

1 - 3 years of sales or professional experience

Bachelor’s degree required
