The Team
At Torch, the Sales department exists to create new business opportunities with prospective clients while fostering strong partnerships with our existing customers.
The Market Leader (Enterprise) at Torch will be supervising a team of Account Executives that are selling to our top accounts and working with Fortune 5000 caliber clients. You will coordinate with sales leadership and executive management to define sales initiatives, help to educate, delegate, and motivate the sales team and advance deals as necessary.
Additionally, you will oversee quota-carrying reps who are responsible for closing enterprise deals for both new and existing accounts. The Account Executive team generates new business opportunities by targeting and researching new enterprise accounts, qualifying and developing opportunities via a planned process, and structuring and winning customer deals.
We are looking for proven leadership qualities, including influencing and motivating individuals in a fast-paced environment. You will show that you can lead by example to garner trust, gain respect, effectively communicate and encourage collaboration.
This position will be reporting directly to the Senior Director of Sales.
Your Position:

    • Hire and develop a team of experienced Enterprise Account Executives
    • Consistently deliver against team revenue goals
    • Assist your team throughout their strategic sales cycles by deeply understanding customers needs and mapping them to the value of Torch
    • Partner with sales leadership to further define a successful and repeatable sales process
    • Understand the challenges facing the team and clear the way to allow for success
    • Regularly report on team and individual results through pipeline management and forecasting
    • Identify and make recommendations for improvement in the areas of process, efficiency and productivity


Your Ideal Experience:

    • You have 5+ years of experience managing high-performing sales teams.
    • You have excellent written/verbal communication skills.
    • You have experience selling both SaaS and services to HR/People teams.
    • You have experience managing a team in a start-up environment.
    • You have strong problem-solving skills and demonstrated success in motivating, mentoring, and managing teams.
    • You have experience with accuracy in forecasting.
    • You have high energy, a positive attitude, and the ability to take the initiative and delegate efficiently.
    • You are comfortable working in a fast-paced, frequently changing, and evolving environment.
    • You can multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively towards individual, team, and company goals.
