We are looking for an experienced Systems Manager to join the Sales Operations team. This person will be primarily responsible for a managing team of Salesforce Administrators and Developers and driving the sales systems strategy. This individual will oversee the process of Lead-to-Cash deployment while driving towards the identified business goals and metrics.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop the team of Salesforce Administrators and Developers and proactively identify inefficiencies that are holding the team back
  • Provide best-in-class support for users of Salesforce and sales systems/tools by triaging user requests/bugs and prioritizing project enhancements
  • Own Salesforce instance including overall processes, architecture and integrations with other applications
  • Continually improve our use of Salesforce including automating processes and identifying areas where we can streamline automation to improve the scalability and performance of our systems
  • Lead cross-functional technical projects and refine business requirements as necessary with Sales Operations, Legal, Compliance, Finance, Engineering, etc.
  • Manage end-to-end project plans to ensure on-time and high quality releases of internal systems and tools
  • Provide hands-on project management during scoping, design, development, testing, rollout, and post rollout phases including communicating big picture and project status (progress, risks) to the Sales Ops team and key project stakeholders
  • Efficiently balance and prioritize needs of multiple business teams with technical constraints
  • Share best practices to enhance the quality and efficiency of Salesforce and it’s integrated systems

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum 5+ years experience with Salesforce supporting 500+ users, including optimizing user experience to reduce overall sales process friction
  • Experience with CPQ
  • Deep understanding of quote-to-cash systems and how they’re best integrated with Salesforce (ex: Apttus CPQ, Apttus CLM, Netsuite or equivalent)
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver on Salesforce project requirements and lead operations support, including managing teams of developers and/or admins
  • Experience implementing and managing large Salesforce projects such as transitioning to Salesforce Lightning, implementation of CPQ, integration and scaling lead routing solutions
  • Experience with sensitive data and creating systems that meet the security and compliance needs that come with the management/ownership of sensitive data
  • Highly organized, results-driven, with exceptional attention to detail
  • Experience with sales and account management processes (e.g., acquisition, account management, support), systems (e.g., CRM, reporting), and datasets
  • Self starter with an analytical and collaborative orientation; thrives on change and comfortable with ambiguity
  • High proficiency in leading cross-organization projects, setting and holding teams and individuals accountable to timelines and deliverables, and building relationships across diverse, cross-functional teams
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including tailoring messages and level of detail to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Proficiency in development methodologies (Agile, Waterfall)
