Salesforce Admin
Grammarly is continuing to grow our team during the COVID-19 pandemic, conducting fully remote hiring and onboarding processes. All Grammarly team members can work remotely until August 2021. Read more about how we’re supporting our team and communities.
The opportunity
Grammarly empowers people to thrive and connect, whenever and wherever they communicate. Every day, 30 million people around the world use our AI-powered writing assistant. All of this begins with our team collaborating in a values-driven and learning-oriented environment.
To achieve our ambitious goals, we’re looking for a Salesforce Admin to join our Revenue Operations team. We are building out the next generation of our revenue systems with an eye toward scaling rapidly and innovating regularly—this position will play a big role in how we use technology to drive that. The Salesforce Administrator will be responsible for the day-to-day configuration, support, and maintenance of our CRM platform.
Your impact
As the Salesforce Admin, you will report to the Senior Salesforce Business Analyst and handle the day-to-day administrative functions on the platform while also fulfilling needs from Grammarly’s Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Finance teams.
We’re looking for someone with experience in a start-up environment building and maintaining automation using declarative tools in Salesforce Lightning, including Flow and Process Builder. To succeed in the role, you should have good technical acumen, the ability to understand complex systems, and a willingness to evaluate and prioritize requests with an eye for scalability.
- Within your first 30 days, you will get up to speed on Grammarly’s vision, strategy, team, culture, and tech stack. You will develop relationships with internal stakeholders and leadership and take time to develop an understanding of current business processes. You will become familiar with Salesforce configurations and integrations to third-party systems.
- By month three, you will ensure our Salesforce instance is meeting requirements for stakeholders with regard to integrations, workflows, and reporting. You will contribute to a culture of best practices for the systems in place by creating training materials and documentation for use, along with leading training sessions for new hires and existing team members.
- By month six, you will champion automation within the system to accelerate the Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success organizations in their efforts. You will manage integrations with third-party systems to enable automation of work wherever possible (and reasonable).
We’re looking for someone who
- Embodies our EAGER values—is ethical, adaptable, gritty, empathetic, and remarkable.
- Loves problem-solving and has an ability to think things through with incomplete data.
- Uses creativity to break existing configurations in favor of more effective or appealing ones.
- Enjoys strategic thinking to play out alternative scenarios in the future and develop proactive solutions.
- Has a desire to put beliefs into action and derives joy from helping others achieve their goals.
- Can communicate accurately, clearly, and effectively, both in writing and in person.
- Has an ability to quickly understand and improve technical systems with experience in a B2B SaaS environment (preferably at a start-up), with B2C or B2C2B experience a plus.
- Has 2 years of experience managing a Salesforce organization and holds at least Salesforce Admin and Platform App Builder certifications; is comfortable working with Salesforce and third-party integrations to achieve business outcomes—e.g., connected sales tools, quote-to-cash systems, etc. (Pardot experience is a plus.)
- Has experience scaling a Salesforce instance and is open to managing contractors.
