The value of this position:


The Embroker Business Operations team is looking for a Salesforce Solution Architect to assist us as we design and build a single technology platform with end-to-end business process management on the Salesforce.com platform, customized to suit Embroker’s needs as an insurtech distribution platform & MGA with direct (Embroker's brokers) and channel (partner brokers) distribution. Our technology is a key enabler of growth and productivity.


What you will own in this role:


  • Standardize and automate Embroker’s direct and partner sales processes to increase velocity, customer satisfaction and net retention.
  • Optimize Embroker’s Salesforce policy management architecture to increase productivity of our service team and improve the quality of customer touchpoints.
  • Develop Embroker’s quote-to-cash to processes to support scale and forecasting.
  • Design and implement a streamlined proposal process that supports multiple direct and partner quotes, including workflows and data structure needed to build proposals and benchmarking.
  • Build and refine a forecasting tool to support business decision making.


What experience we think is the right fit:


  • 5+ years of Salesforce solution design and administration
  • Extensive knowledge of the administration of Salesforce Sales and Service Clouds including general object/page/field configuration, Lightning Flow, workflow rules, validation rules, Process Builder, reports/dashboards and security controls, and the appropriate application of each to various business problems
  • Ability to assess and reduce complexity in existing processes and generate new and innovative approaches to problems
  • Passion for working cross-functionally to understand key challenges and gather input before solutioning, identifying gaps between current and future state, writing user stories and building comprehensive solution designs
  • Strong experience managing third-party AppExchange integrations and replacing existing apps with competitive alternatives
  • Proven experience with various change management methodologies, including change sets, source control, and metadata deployment tools (eg Gearset)
  • Experience with ETL/iPaaS tools (eg Boomi) a plus
