About this role

Faire's quality, depth and breadth of Brands is its strongest value to Retailers. Our Brand Partnerships Team is at the forefront of Faire’s success, ensuring that the best and most relevant Brands are on our platform. In this role, you are directly contributing to the company’s success by growing our supply of quality products and ensuring that we are ready to service our next segment of Retailers.

We are a growing team and need a self-starter who can ramp quickly and manage a high-volume pipeline of leads. You communicate candidly. You are a pro at prioritizing. You are curious & proactive. Above all, you will be critical during this foundational stage of the company, and instrumental in making Faire the de-facto platform for Brands to distribute their products and for independent Retailers to source amazing products for their stores.

This job is located in the San Francisco Bay Area. While we are currently remote due to Covid-19, we are seeking candidates who are based in the San Francisco Bay Area OR who are willing to relocate upon our eventual return to the office (timing to be determined).

What you’ll do

  • Drive Food & Drink Category Growth: Own a Strategic Book of Business focused on Food & Drink Brands comprised of ~500 Brands and perform against a monthly quota of ~15 Brand Activations on our platform
  • Own Category Strategy & Empower: Own a monthly Strategy read-out with Sales Leadership and Executives and empower others on the Food & Drink team to own various parts of the Food & Drink Strategy
  • Improve & Innovate: Accelerate the lifecycle from first touch to Activation and push the upper limits of conversion rates amongst the team
  • Lead by example: Iterate on our value props, sales tactics, processes and sales strategy overall through independence and ownership over your book of business as well as a self-starter approach to the job
  • Collaborate with Sales Peers: Work alongside a dedicated SDR to increase penetration into your Book of Business through effective messaging, outreach and prioritization strategies
  • Collaborate cross-functionally: Contribute to cross-functional initiatives with Brand Success, Biz Ops, Product and more to ensure a tight Brand experience and increase acquisition overall

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of Wholesale Food & Drink Industry Experience and a deep understanding of the wholesale landscape and broader Food & Drink Brand space (competitors, opportunities for growth, pain points, Brand perspective, etc)
  • 4-5 years of Sales experience or relevant work experience
  • Expertise managing a sales pipeline and ability to effectively manage multiple relationships at a time
  • Expertise in building and owning sales motions and processes end-to-end
  • Passion and empathy for artisans and Brands
  • High level of flexibility and excitement for a fast-paced environment with constant change
  • Experience in and comfort with technology and learning new SaaS tools (ie, Salesforce,  SalesLoft, Mode, Sales Navigator, custom internal tools) is a plus
  • Motivated by, and invests heavily in, the success of your team
