The Role

Grand Rounds is expanding and growing through partnerships with payors and strategic aggregators of employees/members. We are seeking a world-class channel leader to manage, grow, and develop these critical relationships to achieve sales, profitability, and partner recruitment objectives. The Channel Manager will represent the entire range of company products and services to assigned partners though may focus on a specific solution or product set if focused in a partner vertical market. This role is critical to the company’s goal of growth through our channel relationships and will report to the Vice President of Sales. 

Responsibilities

  • Establishes strong, productive, and referenceable relationships with health plans and strategic partner organizations
  • Coordinates the involvement of internal partners, including support, service, and management resources, in order to meet partner performance objectives and partners’ expectations
  • Meets assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives in partner accounts
  • Proactively leads a joint partner planning process that develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones associated with a productive partner relationship
  • Proactively assesses, clarifies, and validates partner needs on an ongoing basis
  • Sells through partner organizations to end users in coordination with partner sales resources
  • Manages potential channel conflict with other firm sales channels by fostering excellent communication internally and externally, and through strict adherence to channel rules of engagement
  • Leads solution development efforts that best address end user needs, while coordinating the involvement of all necessary company and partner personnel
  • Ensures partner compliance with partner agreements
  • Successfully execute partner renewals
  • Proactively recruits new qualifying partners

Requirements

  • Health plan and employee benefits-related experience required
  • Client-facing experience with mid-to-large size clients (10,000+ employees and/or $1mm+ in recurring revenue)
  • You will have primary responsibility and ownership of the partner relationship
  • Experience delivering metric-based reporting
  • Confident, self-starter who is willing to ‘jump in’ to the role and its duties
  • Comfortable with a fast-paced, high-growth environment and able to handle a frequently changing environment
  • Independent; willing to roll sleeves up to figure things out and dig to find what is needed
