Senior Sales Compensation Analyst
OVERVIEW
We are looking for a Senior Sales Compensation Analyst to use creativity and analytical skill to reimagine and administer our sales incentive compensation plans. Responsibilities will range from strategic (crafting compensation plans aligned to company objectives and building consensus among sales leadership) to tactical (driving plan implementation and ensuring metrics can be tracked and monitored in an audit-able system), combining analysis with operational execution. This is a meaningful role for our business as our sales teams scale to meet demand.
ABOUT THE JOB
- Build a consultative and collaborative relationships with sales leadership, sales strategy, finance, HR and Legal teams to create consensus and develop, implement and administer new and existing sales compensation plans.
- Ensure compensation plans are aligned to various business goals and strategies.
- Collaborate with senior leaders to provide strategic recommendations and solutions on comp plan design, structure and pilots that are competitive in our markets
- Own the monthly, quarterly and annual variable compensation process for the sales team, including monthly processes around data compilation, variable compensation/bonus calculations, statement distribution, data integrity, and compliance with policy and plans.
- Improve standardization, automation, and scalability initiatives to generate a high-level of accuracy and efficiency in the variable compensation/bonuses and data-gathering process. Implement reporting, controls, and processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency of administration
- Become the subject matter expert on all sales compensation plans, while also gaining a comprehensive understanding of the sales process and drivers for each business unit we support.
- Oversee completeness, processing and analysis of sales compensation.
ABOUT YOU
- 5+ years in sales compensation and commission calculations
- Strong understanding of sales incentive compensation fundamentals
- Proficiency in sales software such as Salesforce, and Google Docs/Sheets. Experience with pivot tables and Google Sheet/Excel formulas
- Proven experience delivering on multiple timelines in fast-paced environments
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- A self-starter who enjoys creative problem-solving
- People-person with strong communication and interpersonal skills
