Sift Science is looking for a Senior Sales Engineer, that has experience in a sales engineering and/or a customer-facing role, passionate about technical sales, and working hands-on with customers. Ideally, you are ambitious and self-motivated, and have experience with SaaS-based analytics or data management platforms. 

What You’ll Do:

  • Influence the product road map: analyze market feedback from Enterprise prospects to meet their business challenges and align with Sift Science's business objectives.
  • Enable the organization: develop internal scripts, tooling, and knowledge to eliminate friction and standardize Sift Science’s go-to-market motion.
  • Support the deal lifecycle: build a relationship with the prospect’s technical teams to thoroughly demonstrate how the Sift Science technology works and provides value.
  • Understand the prospect’s business: work with Sift Science’s largest prospects to identify critical problems and unlock opportunities through bespoke product integrations.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A strong technical background, preferred in fields such as Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or similar fields.
  • A desire to learn ML fundamentals and stay on top of the latest trends in applied AI.
  • Outstanding customer-facing communication skills, including the ability to communicate complex technical and business concepts to both developers and non-developers.
  • Ability to work effectively in teams of technical and non-technical individuals across multiple concurrent projects.
  • Proficiency with programming languages such as Python, Java, Ruby, or similar languages, and familiarity with API-based SaaS products.
  • Experience with web servers and common databases used in today’s application architectures. Able to read and write SQL.
