Our end-to-end population genomics platform enables health systems, life sciences companies, and payers to advance genomic research and accelerate the integration of genomic data into routine clinical care. As a Senior Solutions Engineer, you will:
- Engage externally with Partners and Customers in order to architect, develop, and deploy solutions
- Gather technical requirements
- Identify stakeholders (Security, IT, etc.) and ensure we address their concerns
- Create diagrams, workflows, and technically accurate descriptions
- Ability to remain organized across multiple projects and milestones/deadlines
- Collaborate internally with Helix product managers, designers, engineers, scientists, and business teams to ensure our product and platform
- Identify features or APIs that might be necessary or improve efficiency
- Work with Helix Product and Engineering to architect/design, build, test, and deploy these capabilities
- Ensure we meet security, regulatory, and compliance requirements
- Support and champion Helix deployments/integrations from design all the way to the first weeks following a successfully validated integration
- Be able to mentor and support other team members
Required:
- 3+ years working as a Solutions Engineer or equivalent (post-sales or integration role)
- 1+ years development experience in one of the following: Go, Python, Java, Javascript, or a similar language
- Technical understanding of software integrations (e.g. via APIs)
- A proven track record of working with Enterprises
- Affinity for an engineering culture that emphasizes both quality and agility
Pluses:
- Familiar with EHRs (including Cerner or Epic)
- Worked in the healthcare space; familiarity with regulated software systems and entities (e.g. HIPAA)
- Bachelors degree or higher in Computer Science; coursework in genetics or bioinformatics
