The Team:
At Torch, the Sales department exists to create new business opportunities with prospective clients while fostering strong partnerships with our existing customers.
Torch is looking for a Commercial Account Executive to help quickly scale our client base and identify new revenue opportunities from prospecting to close. As a Commercial Account Executive, you are excited about building and nurturing relationships with small businesses and venture-backed startups to understand what they need to support growing their leadership.
This position will be reporting directly to the Market Leader, Commercial Sales.
Your Position:

    • You will own a territory and target prospects that have 0-100 employees.
    • You will be speaking with C-Suite executives and senior leadership within prospective clients.
    • You will be responsible for farming and hunting for qualified prospective clients to build your book of business in addition to hunting and farming within our current customers for upsell opportunities.


Your Experience:

    • You have 2+ years of B2B sales experience.
    • You have experience negotiating and comfortable having pricing conversations.
    • You have proficiency in Salesforce, Yesware, or Outreach.io.
    • You have strong analytical and reporting skills.
    • You are self-motivated - you are determined and have the will to see projects through from start to finish.
    • You are resilient, adaptable, scrappy - you're able to maximize lean resources as we rapidly scale our sales organization.
    • You have a strong belief in Torch's mission: deeply committed to personal growth, mental health, and a learning mindset.
