Sisu leverages the massive amounts of data available within private, first-party data warehouses, which capture a real-time, structured view of organizational behavior. By monitoring the performance of key metrics like revenue, retention, and churn, and their relationships to interactions between key factors like user demographics, campaigns, and acquisition channels, we can help users make better decisions. The key problem Sisu solves is to help identify what’s driving change among this enormous feature and hypothesis space. To do so, we combine statistical analysis and machine learning at scale to provide users personalized, real-time diagnoses of changes in their metrics via an explainable, interpretable user interface.


Solutions Engineer 


Solutions Engineers at Sisu are in charge of leading the adoption of the Sisu platform and the next generation of analytics. As a Solutions Engineer, you’ll work directly with sales, product, and customer success to help establish the value of the Sisu platform within our clients’ analytics and business intelligence workflows. In addition to helping bring new customers to the platform, you’ll lead the technical pre-sales relationship, develop new technical architectures, and offer creative solutions to their most challenging analytics problems.


You’ll also act as a critical liaison between Sales and Product, sharing critical feedback with the Product and Marketing teams, to inform the roadmap and go-to-market strategy for our operational analytics platform. In your daily interactions with clients, you’ll have the chance to combine your practical knowledge of analytics and data science workflows with a desire to lead data discovery, whiteboard, brainstorm, and figure out better ways to solve tough problems.


What you'll accomplish:

- Work closely with account executives, product, marketing, and leadership to assess, develop, and accelerate key opportunities with global organizations

- Stand as the technical liaison, collaborate with internal sales, marketing and services teams to develop customized presentations, demos, prototypes and proof of concepts (POCs) that show the value fo the Sisu platform

- Contribute to sales scripts, lead customer discovery, implement POCs, share knowledge expertise, and guide solution development/deployment

- Design and manage successful POCs and help deliver effective solutions to global enterprises

- Respond to functional and technical elements of RFPs

- Communicate customer requirements and understand competitor solutions.

- Explain technical and architectural concepts to a variety of audiences, including data analysts, business analysts, and line of business professionals

- Keep current on product releases and new features, assist in training new hires and colleagues

- Document and deliver both product feedback and new requirements from the field

- Maintain and execute a repeatable technical sales process, involving data preparation, analysis, and executive presentations

- Bring a deep knowledge of analytics, BI, and data diagnosis to Sisu and our clients

- Support field marketing events as a Sisu expert and trusted presenter

- Travel to engage with customers directly as required, in their environment 


What you'll need to be successful:

- 5 or more years in client-facing pre-sales, technical architecture or consulting roles

- Experience successfully demonstrating and articulating value of Business Intelligence and Analytics tools

- Numeracy and analytical/data-driven frameworks for solving business problems

- Consistent track record of teaming with sales to over-perform targets and drive customer success

- Extensive knowledge of SQL (or strong ability and willingness to learn)

- Creativity, persistence, and inquisitiveness about analytics, BI, and enterprise data warehouses, and the desire to help enterprises solve problems in new ways

- Stellar interpersonal skills and strong team values

- Excellent presentation skills, with ability to establish trust with a range of technical and non-technical audiences

- Hands-on, high-energy, and creative problem-solving abilities

- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure, Snowflake) and cloud application architecture.

- Proven success working cross-functionally with customer success, sales engineering, and product teams throughout the product life cycle
