Quantcast is seeking a Sr. Deal Desk and Pricing Analyst to join a high-impact team that delivers strategic analysis and operational excellence to our executive leadership and commercial teams.

Focused on our global business, the Sr. Deal Desk and Pricing Analyst operates at the intersection of market behavior, commercial interest, product design and finance. This role focuses on our deals: their structure and pricing. Specifically, this role provides the critical functions of deal review, research, tracking, analysis and approval to ensure alignment with strategy. 

Given the multi-faceted nature of this role, the right candidate will balance excellent communication skill with strong quantitative skill. As such, success in this job requires strong synthetic thinking, writing skill, organizational and quantitative skill. Additionally, success in this role requires a strong sense of ownership, integrity and process.

This role is highly visible across the sales organization and provides a significant career opportunity for analysts seeking upward career growth. 

Responsibilities:

• Timely communicate well-written briefs and communications regarding deals and pricing when relevant.
• Own analytic projects, including the support of critical deal and pricing decisions through use of models and forecasts, the expediting of deal closure and the management of internal deal desk operations and processes.
• Surface and clearly communicate analytical insights to understand negotiated deal structures and pricing.
• Own and deliver deal and pricing reports monthly and quarterly.
• Design and implement reporting tools for business partners, including process and system improvements.
• Cultivate relationships with business partners through work efforts
• Work collaboratively across the business to form models and execute ad hoc work

Requirements:

• Education: Four year degree required with at least quantitative minor or coursework
• Experience: 3 to 5 years experience; deal desk and Finance work invited
• Skills: Excellent writing skill; advanced SQL query capability; advanced Excel; good data chart capability, good Powerpoint slide deck creation, Tableau building capability, advanced modeling, economics, statistics
• Other Skills: Strong process skills; strong organizational capability, strong business communication and time management
• Professional mindset focused on delivering high quality work product under deadlines
• Excellent modeling skills
