Mission

As Calm's Sr. Manager of Partnerships you will be the point of contact for a variety of partner activations across a range of industries (consumer brands, healthcare, retail, travel, wellness and so on). You will manage day-to-day partnerships by developing creative assets, partner requests, status tracking and reporting. Strong commercial abilities and business acumen are highly desired to quickly understand partner requests and needs, along with Calm’s objectives and goals to ensure the best outcome for both parties.

Outcomes

  • Manage ongoing day-to-day partnerships
  • Develop and communicate parameters and scope of partnership (opportunities, goals, ideas, asset needs, resource needs, deadlines)
  • Develop Calm assets and liaise with partner to progress relationship (decks, images, stats, MNDAs)
  • Lead and manage partner calls; write clear, organized recaps of meetings, next steps
  • Distribute/share documents with the executional team and senior management; work with team leads to ensure alignment, accuracy and clarityInitiate projects and designate resource needs across the team; implement and manage ongoing partnership needs
  • Maintain healthy dialogue with the partners and positive relationships; building confidence among partners, gaining their trust in your abilities
  • Develop persuasive POVs, presentations, and meeting agendas that clearly encapsulate Calm’s needs and objectives
  • Develop and implement innovative and new approaches (ie improve efficiencies, new ways to execute a program etc). 
  • Proactively ensure timelines and needs are communicated with creative, project managers /engineering, marketing and customer service where relevant
  • Ensure briefs to teams are efficient and concise, to drive the best quality outcome for the work
  • Provide feedback, data, reports to partners where reporting is required
  • Analyze metrics to ensure goals are met; with insight into what worked / what didn’t work 
  • Escalate issues internally in any discrepancies seen

Competencies

  • Action oriented. Ability to multitask and juggle multiple partners and projects, will follow up on deadlines, flagging questions + issues, and ensuring deadlines are met 
  • Decision quality, leveraging experience, analysis and judgement to understand complex business deals and multifaceted programs
  • Full understanding of strategic business plans and marketing + principles, creative and production processesFunctional skills including, screening calls, developing programs, financial management and reporting experience
  • Competent in Excel, Powerpoint, Word, and all Google Products (Google docs etc).
  • Knowledge of Amplitude and Mode beneficial Problem solver, who is solutions-oriented
  • Process management skills, with excellent organization
  • Written communications, with extremely strong attention to detail (written and verbal)
  • Has a sense of humor!
  • Interpersonal skills, entrepreneurial spirit and positive energy
  • Agency experience a plus, along with B2B / healthcare experience
