HOW YOU’LL HELP EVERYONE PET PARENT LIKE A PRO

  • Manage and strengthen relationships across key retail channels (including Chewy, Amazon, Walmart, Petco, Target, etc.).
  • Support development of and execute healthy retail partnerships and programs, maximizing opportunities to drive incremental sales and delivering year over year growth
  • Partner with marketing to ensure collaboration and cohesion around promotional events
  • Responsible for reporting of retail channel performance and collaborating with finance to manage rolling forecasts and to partner on demand planning
  • Support commercial growth planning activities for 2021
  • Gather, summarize, and report out industry, competition, retail, category, and partnership insights
  • Support B2B and shelter accounts. Approve POs.
  • Partner with operations to plan production, manage chargebacks, and maintain healthy stock positions with retail partners
  • Manage product set up, required content changes, and eMerchandising strategies
  • Oversee channel compliance and policy execution

THE PRO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

In all of the roles that we hire for, we look for people who are Optimistic, Purposefully Inquisitive, and Open to All. And for this role, you’ll need these skills to knock it out of the dog park:

  • 5+ years of direct sales or category management
  • Prior experience in retail channel sales and analytics, preferably with a strong emphasis in eCommerce
  • Amazon channel experience is a strong preference
  • Experience with budgeting, costing, promotional campaign management and optimizing online marketing strategies at retail
  • A passion for pets!
  • Channel management for Chewy, Petco, Walmart, Target experience is a plus
  • 1-2 years of forecasting/demand planning experience
  • Pet product category experience

Our San Francisco office is located in the Financial District, a quick walk from the Ferry Building, Union Square, and Salesforce Park. Convenient to BART(1 block from Montgomery Station), Muni, ferries, and cable cars. Great local restaurants, gyms, shopping, and bars nearby!
