We’re looking for a Strategic Partnerships Manager to focus on our data partnerships. This person will expand our reach into the health data ecosystem and cultivate strategic partnerships that create consumer value. This role will be responsible for building and maintaining partnerships with data providers in the U.S. and potentially abroad, as well as managing and growing our existing vendor relationships. 

The role will work closely with leadership and product teams to set strategy, manage deals with vendors, and meet our goals.

What you'll do

• Become an expert on data relationships, from basic integration to broader impact
• Assess data needs across internal and client teams and collaborate on product roadmap and data acquisition priorities
• Based on priorities that you help set, establish our data partner acquisition strategy
• Cultivate strategic alliances with data ecosystem partners, from early stage to Fortune 500 companies 
• Serve as a vendor manager and key communicator across teams and stakeholders, representing partners internally.
• Manage the procurement and contracting process and oversee data royalties 
• Maintain partnerships by actively monitoring KPIs and holding regular meetings to fine tune or take corrective action
• Become an authority on empowering consumers in healthcare and a champion for acquisition of health data
• Obsess over consumer transparency, trust and privacy when managing partner relationship 

About you

• 3+ years of business development or partnerships experience with a history of delivering measurable results
• Experience working in health tech and an understanding of the healthcare ecosystem
• Familiarity with the health data and health systems landscape - you know who the major sources of potential health data are
• Prior experience in an early stage company
• Ability to navigate a complex stakeholder matrix and manage competing priorities
• A talent for cultivating long-term relationships with key stakeholders 
• Excellent negotiation, presentation, and documentation skills
