The Role:

 

The ideal candidate is goal-driven, self-motivated, a sales hunter who can work proactively to grow revenue through deeper penetration of new and existing partners to achieve a shared leadership position in the market. The Territory Manager will be accountable for developing a competitive market strategy, identify key opportunities, follow up, support existing partners and close new partner deals in a unique territory.

 

The Responsibilities

  • Visit, review and analyze partner locations regularly to identify additional sales opportunities and maximize loan production 
  • Work closely with partner Supervisors and/or Managers to create strategic action plans and set expectations in a manner that will encourage opportunities for growth and cross-selling of our product
  • Serve as the partner’s single point of contact in the area, working closely to gain insights into their business needs and opportunities
  • Schedule and facilitate training sessions for the partner sales team
  • Use relationship building /account management techniques to motivate partners to grow their business
  • Capture new business through referrals, networking, and cold calling
  • Effectively position Aura and present a strong value-added proposition to prospective partners to close the sale
  • Proactively provide expertise on policies, the application process, product and recommendations to increase sales, reduce costs and drive efficiencies for partners

Your Skills Profile

 

  • A motivated, self-starter who possesses the following qualifications:
  • Proven experience in core selling skills, including strategic prospecting, negotiating, presentation, and closing
  • Growth mindset and a "hunter" type of sales attitude
  • Experience in a sales supervisory role involving coaching and developing sales teams
  • Self-motivated and effective time management skills, along with the ability to prioritize, manage, organize and meet deadlines
  • Demonstrated ability to make successful presentations to individuals of different backgrounds and/or at all levels of an organization
  • Familiarity using CRM tools to record the activity and manage the sales pipeline
  • Intermediate IT knowledge
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Written and verbal fluency in English & Spanish
  • Valid driver’s license and excellent driving record
