About Your Role 


As the Vice President of Partnerships at Sendoso, you will continue to build and lead the Sendoso partnership team, reporting directly to the CMO. You will have responsibility for delivering and executing a coherent, strategic partnership plan, including channel partnerships and strategic alliances, and deploy a strategy to build preference and market share growth for Sendoso globally. The partnerships team north star metric is the Partner Qualified leads and Partner Influenced Leads, which are both closed by the sales team. The current partnership ecosystem at Sendoso has many amazing partnerships ripe for growth and new strategy. 


Who You Are:

  • You are partnered obsessed.
  • You have a background in building and scaling partner organizations in tech companies. 
  • Large partner ecosystems across agency and integration partners you prefer.
  • You understand what a partner team means for a sales org, and how it helps to build a pipeline.
  • You believe partnerships need to be a two-way street. 

Your Typical Day:

  • Manage and grow partnerships across multiple categories, including agencies and integrations. 
  • Drive partner channel lead generation, opportunity creation, and closed deals.
  • Foster referral and reseller relationships to increase cross-sell and revenue opportunities.
  • Create and develop partner network program and certification.
  • Conduct joint product sales training sessions with key partners.
  • Assess verticals in which Sendoso works and identify new partners to help drive opportunity and expand Sendoso footprint.
  • Think creatively to use marketing funds to sponsor events and tradeshows
  • Manage partner team members.
  • Represent Sendoso at in-person trade shows and partner events, with the potential of presenting to large audiences.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to work with partners to execute on go-to-market programs and monitor through the development of those programs to ensure their success.
  • Present and clearly communicate recommendations and results to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Referral and reseller contracting and negotiations.
  • Work with sales team members to close deals with heavy partner and integration focus
  • Develop relationships with both product and marketing teams to define partnerships and G2M strategy.
  • Ownership of Go-to-Market strategy and cross-departmental alignment within our partnership network.

Experience:

  • At least 15 years of proven experience in alliances and channel capacity in a highly. competitive market with a strong preference for SaaS.
  • 5+ years of experience managing robust business partner teams.
  • Critical problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Outstanding business judgment and high EQ.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to be personable yet persistent.
