Job Name: Salesforce DevOps Engineer
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Salesforce DevOps Engineer to join our IT department. This role focuses on enabling development teams with Salesforce DevOps tools and processes, ensuring the delivery of secure, scalable, and high-quality solutions across multiple Salesforce modules.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for Salesforce using Copado.
Support development teams in delivering secure, tested, and compliant code through automated pipelines.
Participate in architectural governance to align solutions with organizational standards and best practices.
Oversee compliance checks, including static code analysis (e.g., PMD, SonarQube).
Collaborate across Salesforce modules such as Sales, Service, Marketing, Industries (Velocity), Data Cloud, and Field Service.
Address deployment challenges including managed metadata, manual steps, and evolving Salesforce licensing features.
Qualifications and Skills:
Proven experience with Salesforce platform and Copado for DevOps and CI/CD.
Strong understanding of DevOps principles, governance, and architectural best practices in Salesforce environments.
Experience with automated testing, compliance, and quality tools (e.g., PMD, SonarQube).
Ability to adapt to new Salesforce features, licensing models, and evolving deployment requirements.
Role-specific Requirements:
Experience supporting multiple development teams in complex Salesforce ecosystems.
Exposure to working with global teams and 24/7 support models is beneficial.
This position is dedicated to Salesforce DevOps, not general Salesforce support or architecture.
