Who we are

Action1 is an autonomous endpoint management platform trusted by many Fortune 500 companies. Cloud-native, infinitely scalable, highly secure, and configurable in minutes—it just works and is always free for the first 200 endpoints with no functional limits.

By pioneering autonomous OS and third-party patching with peer-to-peer patch distribution and real-time vulnerability assessment (without requiring a VPN), Action1 eliminates routine IT labor, helps prevent ransomware and security risks, and protects the digital employee experience.

In 2025, Action1 was recognized by Inc. 5000 as the fastest-growing private software company in America.

The company is founder-led by Alex Vovk and Mike Walters, entrepreneurs who previously founded Netwrix, a multi-billion-dollar cybersecurity company.

The Role

We are looking for a Senior Accountant to help strengthen and scale the financial operations behind a rapidly growing global SaaS business.

In this role, you will work closely with finance leadership and cross-functional teams to maintain accurate financial records, improve reporting quality, and support the company’s continued international growth. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys ownership, structure, and building reliable accounting processes in a fast-moving environment.

You’ll have the opportunity to work on operational improvements, gain exposure to international SaaS finance operations, and help automate routine accounting, reporting, and Excel-heavy workflows.

What you’ll do
  • Maintain accurate day-to-day bookkeeping
  • Manage accounting records and reconciliations in QuickBooks
  • Handle SaaS revenue recognition and deferred revenue
  • Reconcile financial data across internal systems
  • Prepare monthly financial statements and reporting
  • Support month-end close and reporting accuracy
  • Prepare cash flow forecasts and liquidity reporting
  • Deliver budget reporting and financial analysis
  • Process commissions, bonuses, and contractor payments
  • Support audits, compliance, and GAAP adherence
What we’re looking for
  • 5+ years of accounting experience
  • At least 1 year of experience as a Senior Accountant or in a similar-level role
  • Strong experience with General Ledger management
  • Solid understanding of GAAP and IFRS principles
  • Experience working in a SaaS or subscription-based software company
  • Experience working in multi-currency accounting environments
  • International accounting or cross-border finance operations experience
  • Hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online or QuickBooks Enterprise
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment
  • Strong communication skills in English
Nice to have
  • Experience participating in external audits or working directly with audit firms
  • Experience managing deferred revenue processes
  • Experience improving or automating accounting workflows and reporting processes
  • Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills
What we offer
  • Fully remote work environment
  • Opportunity to grow with a fast-growing software company
  • People-first culture with low bureaucracy and direct communication
  • Exposure to international SaaS finance operations
  • Opportunities to improve and automate existing accounting processes
  • Flexible working environment focused on outcomes, not micromanagement
  • Supportive and experienced team that values ownership and initiative
