Summary of Role
The Senior Financial Analyst will focus on revenue, GTM planning, and sales commissions within the FP&A team. In this role, you will be responsible for revenue modeling, sales reporting, analyzing key GTM metrics and driving financial insights for the broader Finance and GTM teams within the business working closely with the Chief Revenue Officer. You will own the end-to-end design, management, and execution of our sales commission and incentive compensation programs. This role requires a highly analytical and quantitative skillset including a passion for modeling, working with data and translating complex financial results into easily digestible insights to drive key business outcomes. You will report to GTM Finance Leadership.
How You’ll Succeed
- Maintain and refresh our ARR model monthly, including analyzing key trends by customer, product and revenue type, with support from other GTM team members.
- Meet with department heads within Sales and Marketing to discuss financial results, including actuals vs. targets, future forecasts and potential growth opportunities.
- Administer sales commission and incentive compensation plans, ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and timely payouts each pay cycle.
- Serve as the primary administrator for our commission management platform (CaptivateIQ), maintaining plan setup, participant data, and workflow configuration.
- Assist the FP&A team in preparation of monthly/quarterly reporting packages for the Executive team, Board of Directors and department heads. Own the analysis of revenue data, provide commentary on variances and insights into key trends.
- Dig into key financial metrics (incl. margin, retention, x-sell and new bookings) by product and revenue type to support the business in achieving its desired outcomes.
- Analyze sales pipeline and bookings trends to assist with target setting and forecasting revenue.
- Continue to improve processes, increase efficiency and analyze trends with the goal of helping drive improvements and success within the FP&A team and the business partners we support.
What You Bring
- Competent level of communication – Great listener and effective written/verbal skills
- 3+ years of applicable experience in FP&A, corporate finance, accounting, consulting, analytics, or investment banking.
- Strong financial modeling and analytical skills, with a deep understanding of key financial metrics, budgeting and forecasting techniques.
- Hands-on experience administering a commission management or Sales Performance Management (SPM) platform; experience with CaptivateIQ is strongly preferred
- Keen interest in automation and AI, helping to build out further data / AI capabilities within the finance function.
- Expert knowledge and comfort with Excel. Experience with Power BI, PowerQuery and PowerPivot are a plus.
- Ability to build strong and collaborative relationships with business partners at all levels of an organization.
- Ability to communicate complex financial or quantitative topics in an easily digestible way. A bility to synthesize key takeaways and tell a story with data.
- A self-starter who has the intellectual curiosity to independently identify and solve problems.

- Excellent interpersonal skills and a great teammate excited to help build and grow the FP&A team.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. MBA or other advanced degree a plus.
- Systems experience with Salesforce, NetSuite (ERP), Adaptive Planning, Snowflake, or other similar systems a plus.
- Technology/SaaS industry and GTM experience preferred.
