About the Role

We’re seeking a strategic and hands-on People Development Partner to shape how Chime builds and scales talent. In this role, you’ll design and deliver development programs that strengthen individual performance, elevate team effectiveness, and embed a culture of feedback, trust, and collaboration across the organization.

Equal parts learning strategist and builder, you’ll create scalable systems that drive ownership, resilience, and continuous improvement. You’ll partner closely with People Partners, senior leaders, and cross-functional teams to craft high-impact programs that enable Chimers to thrive and deliver measurable business outcomes.

This is a unique opportunity to build from the ground up and influence talent development across multiple departments in a growing, complex organization.

Base salary: $130,050–$180,600, plus bonus, equity, and comprehensive benefits.

What You’ll Do
  • Design and implement enterprise-wide learning strategies aligned with business priorities, ensuring programs directly enable performance and impact.
  • Partner with People Partners and business leaders to proactively identify capability gaps, anticipate emerging skill needs, and co-create development solutions that strengthen team performance and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Lead strategic skill-building initiatives focused on individual and team effectiveness – designing experiences that enhance communication, problem-solving, and execution through advanced facilitation, diagnostics, and data-driven insights.
  • Create and scale internal mobility and development programs that help top talent grow, rotate, and succeed across teams and functions.
  • Measure and refine programs continuously using data and feedback to demonstrate impact and drive ongoing improvement.
  • Ensure learning experiences are inclusive, accessible, and multimodal (live, digital, AI-enabled, peer-based) in partnership with DEB and People Partners.
  • Continuously evolve the learning portfolio to align with Chime’s changing business priorities and culture.
What You Bring
  • Proven success designing and scaling development programs across diverse employee groups and organizational levels.
  • Experience creating internal mobility or talent marketplace initiatives that drive retention, growth, and opportunity.
  • Strong facilitation and program design expertise, with experience leading team development sessions and cohort-based learning.
  • Ability to diagnose performance and cultural gaps and deploy targeted, data-informed interventions that improve team effectiveness.
  • Strategic and proactive mindset—you seek to understand business needs deeply and anticipate challenges rather than respond reactively.
  • Knowledge of AI concepts and tools, with the ability to design programs that increase organizational AI awareness and fluency.
  • Experience navigating complex, cross-functional environments, with the ability to influence senior leaders and drive alignment.
  • Data-driven approach to measuring development effectiveness and linking programs to business outcomes.
  • Depth in adult learning, behavior change, and organizational psychology, paired with fluency in learning technologies (e.g., Docebo, Articulate).
  • 7+ years of experience in Learning & Development, Talent Development, or Organizational Effectiveness; experience in high-growth tech or fintech a plus.
