About the Role:
We're seeking a visionary Senior Product Manager for Developer Experience and Ecosystem to join our team for TiDB Cloud. In this role, you will shape the future of our developer + AI platform, delivering top-notched developer experiences and growing our ecosystem. Your strategic mindset and technical acumen will help create a world-class environment where developers can thrive and innovate.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategy & Vision: Define and execute the strategy for developer experience and ecosystem in TiDB Cloud. Create a clear product roadmap aligned with market trends, business goals, and developer needs.
  • Product Management: Lead initiatives to improve developer onboarding, workflows, and productivity. Drive the development of tools SDKs, APIs, integrations, and documentation to make TiDB Cloud the beloved database platform by developers. Foster partnerships and integrate with third-party tools to expand TiDB Cloud's ecosystem.
  • Build and nurture a robust developer pipeline, champion developer needs, collect valuable product feedback, and serve as a thought leader both internally and externally by guiding developers at scale on best practices, industry trends, and future potential.
  • Cross-functional leadership: Work closely with engineering, sales, marketing, and customer success teams to translate market insights into actionable product requirements. Develop and execute a comprehensive GTM strategy for developer experience and ecosystem initiatives. Advocate for the developer community, and collaborate with community contributors and external partners to broaden the adoption of TiDB.
  • Performance Metrics: Define KPIs to measure the impact of developer experience improvements and ecosystem growth. Continuously refine and iterate strategies based on data-driven insights.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; an advanced degree is a plus.
  • 7+ years of experience in product management, with a focus on developer tools, platforms, or cloud services.
  • Strong technical background and familiarity with either database management systems, cloud platforms, or developer ecosystems.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact products.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills to articulate a compelling product vision.
  • Passion for empowering developers and a deep understanding of their workflows and challenges.
