This is a hybrid role for a T-shaped marketer-someone who combines deep technical fluency in cloud security, networking, and threat prevention with the storytelling expertise to craft compelling narratives for CxOs, IT leaders, and security practitioners alike.

You'll work cross-functionally with Product, Sales, Field, and Demand Generation teams to lead go-to-market execution, shape product positioning, and create content that cuts through complexity and resonates with customer pain points.
Key Responsibilities Messaging & Positioning
- Develop differentiated messaging that translates technical capabilities into clear, compelling value propositions for audiences ranging from CISOs to security architects.
- Craft product narratives and positioning frameworks across cybersecurity use cases, including Zero Trust, SASE, SD-WAN, and secure networking.
- Create technically credible content (e.g., solution briefs, whitepapers, demo scripts, and competitive comparisons) to support sales engineers and field marketing.
- Tailor messaging for regulated industries (e.g., HIPAA, PCI-DSS, SOC 2) and industry-specific threat models.
- Work closely with technical sellers and product managers to align messaging with the roadmap, feature differentiation, and customer pain points.
- Define and execute launch plans, including messaging, sales enablement, web content, analyst briefings, and campaign themes.
- Lead industry-specific GTM motions for high-value verticals (e.g., healthcare, media, financial services), based on buyer insights, compliance needs, and pain points.
- Collaborate with industry specialists and customer-facing teams to develop use case collateral, personas, and segment-specific messaging.
- Build sales assets such as battle cards, ROI tools, customer stories, vertical playbooks, and objection-handling guides.
- Deliver field training and participate in key customer engagements as a subject matter expert.
- Work with demand generation and campaign teams to drive pipeline and revenue growth.
- Support analyst and customer briefings, partnering with AR, PR, and customer marketing teams.
- 8-12+ years in product marketing, with direct experience in cybersecurity and networking (cloud security, endpoint security, Zero Trust, etc.).
- Technical fluency-able to confidently engage with security architects at a deep level while effectively simplifying complex topics for executives.
- Strategic storyteller-skilled in crafting crisp, audience-tailored messaging that drives both rational and emotional buy-in.
- Industry GTM expertise-experience developing vertical-specific marketing strategies and assets.
- Cross-functional leader-proven ability to align product, field, demand gen, and executive stakeholders around a unified narrative.
- Customer-obsessed and intellectually curious-not afraid to challenge assumptions or dive deep into technical discussions.
- Entrepreneurial mindset-high sense of urgency and a results-driven approach to driving business outcomes.
- Impeccable verbal and written communication skills, with an obsessive attention to detail.
- Confident presenter-comfortable speaking on stage, in webinars, and on video.
- Team player-collaborative and willing to go the extra mile to ensure success.
Compensation may be adjusted depending on work location.
- For Bay Area based hires: Estimated annual salary of $172,000 - $210,000
